Drs. Scott Lampert, Michael S. Jacobson, and Jay Stallman Recognized as Atlanta’s Best Ophthalmologists

Three Georgia Retina ophthalmologists — Drs. Scott Lampert, Michael S. Jacobson, and Jay Stallman — were recently named Atlanta’s Top Doctors by Castle Connolly, the healthcare research company that compiles Atlanta magazine’s annual Top Doctors list. Drs. Lampert and Jacobson also appeared on the Atlanta magazine list, published in the July issue.

Dr. Lampert said the prestigious lists mean a great deal to him personally and to the practice as a whole. “All of our ophthalmologists strive to provide the best possible care to our patients, and it’s fulfilling to be recognized by our peers,” he said.

Dr. Jacobson said, “The Top Doctor list is among the most highly regarded listings in our region, and I’m honored to be selected.”

Dr. Stallman said he’s in great company. “Castle Connolly’s Top Doctor list is very respected, and I’m grateful to be included,” he said.

Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., an established healthcare research company based in New York, compiles Atlanta magazine’s annual list of Top Doctors. Its physician-led team of researchers selects Top Doctors through a rigorous screening process that includes evaluation of education and professional experience. Top Doctors were nominated by both a nationwide survey administered by Castle Connolly and by licensed physicians in the metro area who submitted online votes for exceptional colleagues they would send their own families to.
