Patient Education

At Georgia Retina, our patients’ vision is our priority. Expect your doctor to treat you with care and compassion, making sure you understand your condition and all the treatment options.

Once you have a basic understanding about the eye, you can better understand how your eye problem interferes with vision. Inform yourself on a variety of conditions we treat.

You may be asked by your doctors to do some home testing on your eye. Click one of these three links below and you can learn:

  • How to monitor your Amsler Grid
  • How to properly check for floaters
  • How to properly monitor your peripheral vision

Please be prepared to spend at least two hours with us for your first visit.
