I have been a patient of Ga Retina since 2017. Dr Michael Jacobson is so professional, highly educated and a God fearing man. The staff at the Tucker location is awesome,intelligent and very professional. I recently had surgery on the 24th of November and was very scared, but the professional experience that I had with the nurse James was also grateful. James represented himself and Ga Retina very, very good . I called James several times before surgery and at no time did he get impatient with me. If there was a question or concern, James professionally said that he would communicate with Dr. JACOBSON and get back to me, which he did. I had to go to the Tucker location the week before surgery and the computer was having issues. At that time, I witnessed the professional behavior and team work with James and nurse Fatima. The day of my surgery at the Johnson Ferry location, I was so amazed and prayers were answered. The team and again Dr. Jacobson was amazing. As a patient, it is so touching especially during this Cov19 period that you are being treated by professional and safety experts and are treated as a family member. I love Ga Retina and will refer anyone who needs eye treatment. I am a healthcare worker and I am so pleased.

Dr. Rivellese has been so amazing. He is always willing to answer that one question more. He is compassionate about you and your situation . You feel like your concerns have been heard. I don't know what my mental state would be without him and his staff seeing me through this new visual life.

My cornea specialist noticed a problem with my right retina in 2023 and urged me to get it checked out at Georgia Retina. Dr Jacobson quickly diagnosed and lasered my torn retina and saved my vision. I am grateful for the entire capable staff and systems Georgia Retina has in place that helped me and so many others with their eyesight!

I don’t mind the wait (they tell you to expect a two-hour visit) because I know the team often has to work in emergency patients, as they have worked me in when I needed help.

My primary provider has always been Dr. Jacobson, although I have been treated several times by other doctors on staff and was pleased with all of them. The technicians and administrative staff have consistently been professional and caring. The excellent care I have received from this practice, especially from Dr. Jacobson, has enabled me to maintain my sight even though I was diagnosed with wet macular degeneration at age 59. Georgia Retina stays informed about the latest research into advances in treatment for macular degeneration and frequently conducts research trials of possible new drugs. In fact, I participated in one research trial myself several years ago. Dr. Jacobson keeps me informed about the status of my disease and possible new treatments when they become available.
