Sean S. Koh, M.D.
Dr. Koh is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has received numerous awards. He graduated with highest honors from the State University of New York at Stony Brook before attending the SUNY Downstate Medical Center. During medical school, he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society. He completed an internal medicine internship at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York, and an ophthalmology residency at the Boston University Medical Center. He completed a two-year vitreoretinal fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at Harvard Medical School, one of the premier fellowship programs in the nation. During his fellowship, he was awarded the Joint Clinical Research Center Award from the Department of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Koh has been an active participant in numerous research studies, written both articles and chapters, and has also taught medical students and ophthalmology residents. He was born in Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Koh and his wife have two daughters. He is active in his church and enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
